66 According to Article 283 of the EC RK (National contribution of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the global response to climate change), the Republic of Kazakhstan aims to ensure that by 31 December 2030 the carbon balance of the Republic of Kazakhstan is reduced by at least 15% from the level of the carbon balance of 1990.
